... tense excitement and relaxation at the same time. But above all it is a constant challenge to our powers of concentration, requiring good coordination and physical fitness. Whether you are young or old, golf is suitable for the whole family. This sport allows players of different ability levels to play together regardless of their age.
In the typical countryside of the Oldenburger Geest, the coastal moorlands of sandy soil of the North German Plain, there is a golf course on an area of fields and forest comprising about 65ha, which is challenging in every respect: It is the Oldenburger Land Golf Club e.V. in Hatten-Dingstede.
Everything a Golfer could wish for
Designed by the golf course architect Holger Rengstorf, a chartered engineer, the course was constructed by one of the most highly-regarded golf course construction companies in Europe, the company Jürgen Mokinski from Rheda-Wiedenbrück. An 18-hole championship course was built complying with international standards.
The entire golf course is surrounded by edges of forests, interspersed by hedgerows, copses and a small stream. Three large ponds, which also serve for irrigation, add to the course’s charming scenery and its special rural character.
The Oldenburger Land Golf Club is located about 12km from our hotel. Enjoy our substantial breakfast after a restful night. Thus fortified, you will be ideally set up to lower your handicap.
